Overview

Julian is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of OnSite Physio. In his role, he oversees operations, business development, finance, and drives the company’s strategic objectives. Julian’s passionate about healthcare and feels privileged to be able to lead a company that is truly changing a decades-old way of doing things in workers’ comp for the benefit of clients. He is annoyingly known in meetings for preaching the need for OnSite Physio to “bend the cost curve”— a frayed cliché to everyone who does so on an everyday basis without being told such is the case. Julian is also the Managing Partner of Gallatin Equity Partners, a private equity investment firm.

Experience

Prior to Gallatin, Julian held senior positions with Bank of America Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity and Weston Presidio, all of which are private equity investment platforms. He uses many of the best practices learned throughout his career as an investor in large and small, innovative and traditional, healthy and distressed companies, to help steer OnSite Physio away from the turbulent waters companies encounter when innovating a new way of doing things.

Academic

Julian played varsity water polo and junior varsity ice hockey at Harvard College, where in his spare time he also earned a bachelor’s degree in government. A few years later, Julian received his MBA from Harvard Business School, which instilled a life-long fear of leadership shortcomings and business failings.

Cool Facts About Julian

When not working, Julian loves spending time with his family and often embarrasses himself on the tennis court (can you say “double fault”?). He is an avid reader and enjoys traveling to destinations devoid of email, cell phones, and the internet.
